after many attempts to talk to some one, we still havent been contacted back. We purchased a monitor it was wrong, i called about a rma number to start the return process. the person i talked to then said i didnt need it to send it to the address he gave me and he would start the return process. i sent the item back on 9/9/19, the y recieved it on 9/10/19. 24 days later no refund and still no calls back. This is unacceptable to me. We paid for an item and it was the wrong one, we returned the item and we still dont have a refund. im no expert but i dont think this is how a business should be ran, just my opinion though. I will attempt to contact them again today and see what happens today.

Problems with receiver/transmitter solved

The following is the update I promised: So, it took the better part of a day for the Yada customer rep to contact me, but once he did, he was knowledgable and helpful. He checked to make sure that I had PAIRED the receiver/transmitter correctly, and I had. Then he searched for and found a new receiver/transmitter and sent it out to me. It took a week and a half to arrive, I plugged it in, PAIRED it, and now it works perfectly.
Unfortunately, I started to have problems within about the first 3 months with the image kicking in and out on the display monitor. I rechecked my install, including using the digital multimeter to ensure proper contact was made. It appears that the receiver/transmitter unit (which is a part of the camera on newer models but a separate plug in component on mine) is not working. I'm presently waiting on a call back from customer service and will modify this review once I hear back!

Installation was a snap on my F250. I finished installing it about noon, later that same day, I went out to go to the store. I took a quick look behind the truck as I always do, started her up, put her in reverse. To my horror, my neighbors young autistic son appeared in the monitor hiding partially under the rear bumper, he was playing hide and seek with his sister. Don't know if it was luck or intervention, but either way, this product saved a life!

Digital Wireless back-up camera and monitor

I purchased the back-up camera because our Rav4 has darkly tinted glass and it was almost impossible to see when backing up in the dark. After researching the available units on the internet, Yada's camera and monitor seemed to offer the best features for our needs. It did not disappoint. When the ignition is turned on, the monitor lights up. Moments after the shifter is placed into the reverse position, a view to the rear of the vehicle is displayed. I am pleased with the clarity of the picture. I was especially impressed with the performance of the camera at night. Our only issue is that the spare tire partially blocks the right side of the viewing area because the camera cannot be centered on the Rav4.

This is an excellent back-up wireless video cam, works great & easy to install. People giving this product bad reviews are not installing them correctly. It took me less than 15 minutes. I installed it on my GMC Sierrra.
